A new YouTube feature

A quick heads up today of a new YouTube feature easily overlooked. Many of us like to use those great smiley's and hearts and such to enhance a post right? Well now YouTube has decided to allow us a chance to enhance our post on videos with a new drop down list of options.

you will find this just to the right of the comment box where before was just the option to ad a video comment instead of text. Now are 2 options there as shown in this capture.


I must say the options to me are a bit week but I bett as it gets used more and more the list will grow. For now though as shown in the second capture you have several choices to spice up your comment a bit. So have fun with this and play with it as you enjoy different videos on YouTube.

Great summmer and news from YouTube

Boy what a wonderful summer, I trust yours has been equally awesome. Now back and ready to rock n roll smiles =)

Speaking of rock heard some news today after about 4 years of battling YouTube now has a contract in place for indapendent musisions now which I feel will help us video makers out a lot too. You can read about the deal here.

One of the tuff things when making a good movie is music at times. Your best bett is to use none but that can make for a borring video. Your next bett is to purchase royality free music where you buy it once and then can use it again and again. Or to get really into it you can create your own or mix your own as well. Either way this is good news and I feel more deals are soon to come with other music and such so keep your ears out.
